Southeast Asia meets West Africa. Kratom is a tropical plant native to Southeast Asia used in herbal medicine, with “opioid properties and some stimulant-like effects.” Bissap is the name for Roselle (Hibiscus flower) tea in West Africa and coincidentally, Roselle is native to West Africa and was spread to Southeast Asia ion the 16th and early 17th centuries.” The idea behind this particular tea is to mask the Kratom bitterness with the sweetness of the Bissap. This sparkling tea is made of balanced flavours from the Roselle, ginger, cinnamon, mint and balanced sweetness from natrual honey. It’s a good pick-me-up drink, similar to coffee in effect and to be consumed in moderation.
